Controlling The Cars On Competitions
Who is controlling the Rc-cars?
On every occasion, a group of a minimum of two persons (drivers) are present from our team (on bigger events three persons), who are controlling the cars.
We are moving the cars and the carry/service boxes to the field ourselves at the beginning of the events and we also organize the low batteries recharging (usually next to the throwing cage or the javelin track).
And it is also we who are changing low batteries during the events.
What happens in case of failure of the RC-Cars?
During the competitions two cars are operating at the same time, in case a failure happens, the third one is put into operation.
The maintenance of the failed car is being done during the free-time between two events.
Does anyone need to have a license to use the RC-Cars?
Driving our Rc-cars is not dependent on any license. Despite this, the driving/operating of them has to be made with great care as the engines are very powerful, and can cause serious damage!
The person who holds the remote control (drives/operates the Xr car) has the full liability and holds full responsibility for any caused damage.
In case we can’t be present at a competition, on request we can teach local staff how to drive our RC cars.
Tutorials/Videos of The Basics of Driving
We make tutorials/videos of the basics of driving, but we prefer to teach local staff on the site of the competition!
